Once the site of a tired house, this lot has been transformed into an entertainment hub for family gatherings. The open living space enables those cooking in the kitchen to easily chat with family and guests both inside at the island or outside on the adjacent covered porch. The expanded mudroom and laundry room are accessed from a new side entrance that opens up to the driveway. The second floor was also expanded to create space for a roomy primary suite that overlooks tree tops and hydrangeas in the home’s verdant back garden.
